Romie Rubio
Romie Rubio recently graduated from West Texas A&M University, where she is double majored in Accounting and Finance. She served as President of the Women in Business Association, a College of Business Ambassador, and was recognized as the Junior Scholar of the Year in the Rogers LEAD WT, a competitive leadership development program. She was also a proud Ronald E. McNair Scholar, conducting research focused on nonprofit organizations and the inspiring stories of the leaders behind them and their impact on the community. Her passion for service has been shaped through her involvement in multiple organizations, including planning and hosting a successful fundraiser for The PARC, a nonprofit serving individuals experiencing homelessness in the Amarillo area. Romie is excited to pursue her long-term goal of supporting underserved communities through financial education by advising credit unions. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, swimming, and spending quality time with her family.
